We are happy to announce that the club will be continuing the junior lessons program for this Spring, starting April 29th. Click here for full details on the program.

With the hiring of our new head coach, Jinming Lu, we are excited to announce some small changes to our junior lessons program. This will help us maximize enrollment and ensure all students at all levels are able to receive professional coaching.

The main change is that we are primarily organizing the lessons by age group. Lessons will continue to be taught in skill-based levels, but by grouping students into age brackets we can maximize our ability to create classes and ensure continuous on-going lessons for everyone. Our goal is to ensure that every class contains students at one or two adjacent levels of skill. We believe students will thrive with this system as they will be able to challenge themselves in their learning while being grouped with their peers.

Going forward, our head and/or assistant coaches will be on court with students for every class each Saturday. Junior coaches will continue to be assigned to individual classes, under the direction of the head coach. This will ensure a professional level of badminton instruction, and a contact point for parents to communicate about their child’s progress.

We look forward to continuing and growing our club’s great tradition of junior badminton coaching and instruction. If you have comments or feedback, we look forward to receiving it: info@kwbadminton.com.
